Earth may not be the only planet that could support human life. There may be a billion planets like Earth.
But Earth is the only one we’ve got. And we need to take care of it.
For centuries humans have acted as though Earth where their enemy, instead of our mother. We have told ourselves that the Earth and everything on it belongs to us. In fact, all the other animals and species belong to themselves. Not to us.
We have acted as though we would never run out of oil, of fish, of forests. Worse, we have acted as though we would never run out of clean air, clean water, and farmable land.
In truth, we are rapidly running out of all those things. We are near the tipping point. If we go any further in polluting the air, water, and land, we may not survive. In fact, it may already be too late to stop the terrible changes that we have unleashed.
This site will be expanded in future to include discussions of the scientific evidence that we are destroying the Earth and thoughts on what we can do about it. For now, though, please take a look at our video collections on various aspects of the mess we have gotten ourselves into:
...Logging
...Mining
...Pollution
