Just Ask Yourself...

Ask yourself this: Who would spend a lot of money on expensive ads making fun of spending $3 million to do research on wild bears, when the U.S. Government is spending $700 BILLION on illegally occupying Iraq?

Big lumber corporations who clear cut national forests, that's who! Taxpayers foot the bill to build roads in the wilderness so that the lumber companies can stripe the land off all vegetation, causing massive erosion, pollution, and the deaths of animals and nearby forests.

Why are they allowed to destroy and pollute forests that belong to all Americans (or the citizens of whatever country they are despoiling)?

Why are they allowed to log national forests, when that has been illegal since 1898?

Because they contribute millions to political campaigns to get billions in tax cuts, subsidies, free logging of our heritage (the national forests) and roads built for them to do it.

They are counting on you not to think about what they are doing to the Earth and what they are stealing from the rest of us.

Prove them wrong! Be smart. Help make the world safe for bears and for all of us.
